Grants awarded in respect of fees, expenses or maintenance allowances payable to assist education at any school, university or other place of learning approved by the Governors. Generally, assistance will not be available for students attending state school.

Grants awarded to assist with cost of travel in this country or abroad for educational purposes.
Grants awarded towards the study of music, dance or other arts.
Grants awarded to Further Education institutions or voluntary organisations who operate for educational purposes.
Grants awarded to Apprentices.
Grants awarded to individuals for general educational purposes.
